Trim Relay 2004 Yamaha F90

Trim does not work up. I tested the trim motor itself by powering the the wires like the manual says and works fine. Can you tell me how to test the relay to make sure that it is bad before I order a new one?

The manual has test procedures for trim relay. If trim motor ok and getting voltage at trim relay from trim switch on small blue and green wires to activate relay then replace relay.

Thank u for your reply. How do i check those two wires for voltage?
Negative voltmeter lead to engine ground? And red to wire and hit trim switch?

yep that is the way. Test while pushing the switches
