1995 Pro V175

My motor idles well, gets up on plane fast but when I start getting above about 3500rpm it starts to surge and acts like it is not getting enough fuel. I eliminated the obvious (fuel filter) and put new fuel pumps on. I think its the carbs. any suggestions?

could be the boat, use a portable fuel tank and retest, clogged fuel pick up, stuck anti siphon valve, collapsed fuel line, kinked fuel line, loose clamp, sucking air, make all your checks before you pull the carbs off,

monitoring fuel pressure/vacuum should give you an idea if it is a delivery problem
