Tiller Handle conversion for a '93 40 hp C40ELRR

I have the subject motor and want to convert it to a tiller handle control whatever it takes. I believe the part # for the correct tiller handle would be 63D-W0086-00-4D. This part is no longer available. I spent many hours looking for the part on the internet and made many calls with no luck. What I can find is a part # 62Y-W0086-KT-4D. What will it take to make this handle work on this motor? Any information or recomendations about making this conversion will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

62Y kit is for a four stroke 50hp, never tried to make work but probably would not work.
