hi all!
my question is what is the performance difference between a used yamaha 50/35 and a new 4 stroke 60/40 jet. the yamaha 50/35 give or take is 105lbs lighter then the 4 stroke 60/40. the motor will be going on a 1992 tracker pro 16. thank you

Probably very little difference if any.

the only reason i asked is because of the displacement where the 50/35 is 43 and the 60/40 is 61

Those motors both use the medium pump with a 6 1/8in impeller.

would the 50/35 help me over the 60/40 with weight distribution? or would the power/torque of the 60/40 be better? what about planing?
