Call your agent, they will probably have you get an estimate or send an adjuster to look at it.

I hit an unmarked rock that was over 100 yards from shore and had no idea that my insurance would cover it - thought it was my error for not knowing the lake. The insurance paid for a remanufactured lower unit and prop, I choose to upgrade to a new unit - all went well. So call the insurance agent and get a claim started - evidently insurance covers dumb mistakes - not saying yours was, but I thought mine was for going so fast in unknown waters. Good luck.

not all of us are english majors.
I actually do the motor repair gig for a living.
not a lot of emphasis on syntax, sentance composition or grammer.
so I get out of practice.
however over the past 30 yrs I have been an FC2 in the USN with an NEC of 1121.
also I am a yamaha master tech,a volvo tech,and a mercrusier tech.
over the years I have also been certified to perform warrenty and repairs to go-devil,mercury,mariner,suzuki,honda and force as well as the minor market motors such as eska, ted williams and a few others.
toss in the 3 yrs of advanced electronics sholls and all my outboard/stern drive schools and I probably have about 8 years of schooling.
sorry if my sentance structure bugs a few.

Rodbolt17 - Yep yer grammar sucks.......but your knowledge is pretty damn good so we'll give you a "get outta jail free" card for your grammar shortfalls!!!
But I don't think that was aimed at you, I think it was aimed at the OP....and yes I do agree without some periods and grammar simple paragraphs get hard follow.

You did good Rodbolt, as I can see periods and commas, and you hit the return to start a different line of text instead of running it all together.
easy to read
Most of the problems are probably do to them not typing on a computer , not laziness or lack of knowledge. But it does make you have to reread some of them
Just my guess

My comments were offered constructively to call attention to a practice that made the OP's posts difficult to understand. Nothing else. I think Army will understand that.
Yes, some of your posts are difficult at times but none the less I read every one and absorb as much as I can relating to Yamaha outboards. But look at how you write your posts - you hit return to separate sentences or thoughts, sometimes with a period, sometimes not, who cares? How you space your posts makes what you are saying clear even to the those like me who are uneducated in Yamaha motors. That is my point and I hope Army gets it to help others help him.

as bad as some of my sentance and paragraph structures are, I will agree, some are difficult.

I am a stickler for proper grammar and punctuation. My wife is a teacher, but I was that way long before I met her.
I personally do not care for posts with grammatical errors or spelling mistakes. I do however, value the information dispensed by Rodbolt and many others on this and other boating forums. Yes, a properly formatted post is easy to read, but this is not a grammar school forum. I choose to overlook others' grammar and try to figure out what the gist of the post is. Can't we all just get along?

***, can't even belive we are chating about this. I read this forum most everday. If I depended on Grammer and Spelling to make a living I would have starved to death long ago. Rodbolt keep doing what you are doing and for those of you that don't like it don't read it.
