hello again. on a C40TLRY, 2000 model 40 hp two stroke, does the power tilt and trim have a valve or setting that allows the motor to kick up when hitting something in the water? thanks for the help.....

yes, its a tilt relief valve.

But it will make the boat to come to a very hard stop and throw you and passengers forward and hurt them from the sudden stop if not braced for it
