Jump start a yamaha 40....

Can anyone tell me how to start my engine....all i have is the battery and the + and - from the battery...fuel line and the the 10 pin wiring from the remote,. Basically all i need to know is what wires do what....The engine is not on the boat and i cant connect it up to the remote.......

Supply 12 volts to brown wire of starter solenoid to start engine, ground white wire in 10 pin harness to shut engine off.
