  • Spark plug wires

    Hi again

I got another question... Is there a way to remove spark plug wire from ignition coil and from spark plug cap? Basically, to remove it and change with new cable?

    Ah, yes... it's on 2001. Yamaha Getol 2T 50 HP 2001

And, of course... how to put it back if I manage to get replacement cable

Can replace spark plug boot on end of wire but can't replace wire in coil.

I'm going to jump in here with another question. So if you have a wire that looses it continuity you have to replace the whole coil? The coil and the wire are an assembly? I was curious about this as well.

I was affraid of that... that you can't remove wire from ignition coil. Because none of the pictures I saw shows coil, cable and spark plug separated. At least on Yamaha's models. Ah well...

How do you remove spark plug cap (boot)? Just pull it of, unscrew it... or something else?

No hablo ingles... or I just don't get it

Can I replace the whole wire, or just boot? Because few posts before it's stated that wire can't be pulled from ignition coil...
