Transport block,wedge ?

I would like to know what is the recomended transport block support for a
FT60D, i cannot transport with the leg in the fully down position.

If boats.net has a part number i would like to look at that as well

Either use tilt lock on motor bracket or a transom saver between gearcase and trailer.

Thanks for getting back i have been useing the tilt lock lever, but i was also told not to use it.

I was hopping you may have came back to told me the rubber block wedges could be used

i think i will continue using the tilt lock lever

Yamaha doesn't offer a rubber support for the single cylinder power trim models

The tilt lock lever can be bent, broken or damaged by the bouncing up and down of the motor while trailering. Buy a Transom Saver(maybe $25) and use it, so you can trailer your rig without risk of damage. They call it a Transom Saver because it was primarily designed to prevent damage to the transom of the boat by the weight of the outboard motor bouncing around while trailering, but it helps prevent damage to both. The bigger and heavier the outboard, the more some type of device is needed, but it's not a good thing for your outboard to be just flopping around back there, or worse yet breaking a skeg while coming out of a driveway.
