2006 25esh 2 stroke Just had carbs cleaned and kits in each, new fuel line/bulb Motor starts perfectly but requires choke out 1/3-1/2 to run and keep running. One mechanic says he absolutely thinks its clogged intermediate jets(says hardly ever sees fuel pump problem) and one mechanic thinks its fuel pump problem(he's guy who cleaned carbs). What do you guys think? Can not find anywhere on net to order new diaphragm and gasket for fuel pump. Ck'd everywhere and none listed or on diagrams. Is 1/4" ID line large enough? Pulling fuel thru about 10' of line as tank is in front of boat. Don't know who to believe.

by pulling the choke your forcing it rich.
your bypassing all idle circuits in the carb or you simply dont have enough fuel in the bowl.
10 ft is a rather long run for that tiny fuel pump.
did you rebuild/replae the pump at the carb job?
i not its possible to rebuild the carbs and immediatly refill them with debris from the pump.
