  • Command Link Speed Sensor Kit

    Hi,

How does part speed sensor 60V-8A4L1-01-00 compare to 60V-8A4L1-11-00?

The latter seems to be the NEW part but are both a KIT and if so would both series interact well with a 2011 F115 Yamaha 4-stroke?

I just came across a 60V-8A4L1-01-00 but IŽd like to make sure it is a complete kit and compatible with my outboard.

    Many thanks in advance!

60V-8A4L1-01-00 supersedes to 60V-8A4L1-11-00, There was a problem with electronic sensor in -01 leaking, -11 has new updated sensor

the old bogus part can be identified by the hex size, its about 17mm same as the sensor holder hex.
updated part is about a 13/16ths hex. much larger than the holder hex.
DO NOT USE the small hex sensor.
if already installed take it to a yamaha dealer and have the warrenty 90891 prefixed part instaled.

Not meaning to revive an old thread. But I had the same question. Anyways,
Is this a free upgrade, recall type of thing? And is the new part 90891-xx or is it 6aw-8366b-00-00? Thanks
