Oil injection and oil mixture question

Hi everyone,

I just bought an old 1990 Yamaha 40 from a friend that was sitting in storage for a while. It's in great condition but I rebuilt the carbs and water pump anyway. I'm not sure if the oil injector is working so before running it, I wanted to know if I can add a 50:1 mixture to the fuel. Will this cause any harm to the motor if the oil injector ended up working properly since it would have double the amount of oil going into the cylinders? Thanks!

Won't hurt nothing and is best thing to do until you are sure oil injection is working properly
