replacing reed valves

i am also repalcing the reed valves in my 93 250 are there any specific concerns or requirement in this replacing operation thanks carson

Its a pretty straight forward job. Inspect the oil feed lines while you have it apart. Are you using Boyesen or one of the other carbon fiber reed kits? If you don't have one already go to Yamahapubs.com and order yourself a service manual for your motor, costs about $60. Good luck.
