Yamaha Speedometer Assembly Multi Funciton

I am in the process of replacing my original (1998) version Speedometer assy. The wiring has some differences and I am in need of a wire diagram for the new gauge 6Y5-83570-S5-00. Additionally if anyone has or can explain the difference it would be appreciated.

red= 12V positive
black= 12V negative
Yellow= 12V key on power
blue= back light in gauge
white= fuel tank sender lead(usually pink wire)
black= fuel tank sender ground
