F115 oil

I bought the oil change kit, is it ok to use all 5 qts.?
I think it calls for 4.8, not sure if that is with the filter or not?

Some new models need less oil than the previous ones.

if you motor in not recent than you will need:

4.76 qt with oil filter

4.55 qt without oil filter

In my opinion oil filter should be always changed once the oil is changed.

you dont want to over fill your engine.the oil should be half way up the etched mark on the dip stick.

ok thanks, i am guessing by putting in all 5 qts its a bit to much, i will check it in the spring before the first trip out.
