Out of curiosity, has ANYONE ever dared to peek inside one of the high pressure pumps?

and high pressure pump is relative to what engine model we are disscussing. -

yes I have broken one apart and reassembled it.
no I wont do another as the liability is more than I wish.
at the time no parts were avalible for them and the customer was in a bind,he was fishing a tournament out of pirates cove.

What did you find that was causing the problem. What were the symptoms.

We replace the filters on a regualar basis on the high pressure pumps here. when i clean injectors and replace the basket filters we do the ones in the high pressure pump as well..Comment
