I have a 2006 Yamaha 70hp TLR motor.
I wanted to check the ignition timing but have a slight problem. I have the Yamaha service manual and on page 3-8 the fourth figure from the bottom shows two close-up drawings of timing marks on the flywheel. The left side is for 50, 60 70 hp and the right side is for 75, 80, 90 hp motors. The marks on my flywheel look more like the flywheel marks on the 75, 80, 90 hp motor instead of the drawing depicted for the 70hp motor.
Does anyone know what each tick mark is in terms of degrees? 2 degrees per small tick? More?
