Just wondering if anybody can give me some advice as to the normal operating temp for an f150? I have the command link gauges and find that at idle or low revs the temp sits right in the middle of the gauge (ie: 3/5). When I run at mid to high revs 4000-5500 rpm the temp gauge rises to 4/5 on the command link gauge.
I've recently had some work done to the engine, new impeller etc. at a yamaha dealer and a 100hr service. I've also made some changes to the balancer as mentioned in other threads. However, the temp gauge has been doing this both before and after the balancer was removed so i feel this is a separate issue.
Can anybody tell me if running at the 4/5 temp is normal?
Thanks
