  • Marine Grease

    Hi!

What type of grease can I use on my Yami instead of Yamahalube grease?

    Thanks!

which grease are you referring to,, gear lube, or grease to hit the zerks... and why not use yamalube, it is cost comparable and why not use the manufacture product. I know i do.. anyway what ever you decide to use make sure it is marine grade, it has rust and corrosion inhibitors.

I use that Walmart brand Marine grease in my grease gun, for zerks, wheel bearings, etc. For extreme waterproof applications like drive shaft splines, prop shaft splines I use a tube of Quicksilver 2-4-C...it may be some better, but not absolutely sure...

        Hi!

        Thanks for replay!

        I'm refering to zerks grease.
Here on my location I can just find the yellowish lical grease 225g/8oz tube.
I need some 400g/14oz cartrige so you can use it on my grease gun other wise I'll need to buy another grease gun.

I asked because can be some other grease that could be a good job also.
