cannot belive anyone from yamaha reccomended removing the balancer.
I deal with the RTA almost daily.
my personal F150 has suffered one balancer failure and now its making noise again.
however it still belongs to yamaha until august of 2013.
so this spring its gets number two balancer.
however as long as its under warrenty I will keep it as designed.
keep us posted how it works without a balancer.
