I had removed my lower unit to check and clean out my impeller, did that and put lower back on. Now some how the prop is engaged the motor will start but the prop spins like it is in gear. I had it running and tried shifting did nothing in reverse it still spun forward. Is there someting I did wrong. It's not the first time I had the unit off and had no problems before. Anyone have any suggestions? Thank you very much.

Sounds like the gear shift rod was in wrong position when you re-installed the lower unit.
Probably gonna have to drop lower unit again - check shift rod by turning the prop shaft - if drive shaft turns, then the shift rod is not in neutral. Turn shift rod left or right until lower unit is in neutral. Then make sure remote control shifter is in neutral before re-installing lower unit.
