a friend brought me his sx225turz to work on . I found out it had quit on him while fishing would spin over just wouldn't start. He carried it to the dealer who couldn't get to it for about 2 weeks in the mean time the engine locked up. I disassembled engine looking for obvious water intrussion but couldn't find anything obvious no blown head gasket or exhaust gasket. Any ideas where to look. Also thinking about a jasper marine powerhead any comments on jasper powerhead.

jasper power heads are great, i have installed many of them, never had an issue,, as far as the water intrusion those typically dont have that issue, if you dont see a blown head gasket or cracked head, possibly a cancered exhaust plate,, either way it will be taken care of with a new power head.. do you know why it quit running in the first place.. -
typically it comes in on the fuel side.
injectors dont care what they spray.
the 3.1L doesnt have a divider plate.Comment
