  • How can I stop this???

Any ideas as to how I can stop, this from happening. I hope the pics show ok. Two show the dried salt spray and one shows how low the engine is to the water.
What causes/allows water to enter the cowling?
    I would appreciate any input!
Even in calm water I get salt spray, but it's worse when the weather is choppy.

    Thanks for your input.

you probably have a water hose leaking some, run it with the cowling off and look to see.... or check the cowling seal, water should not enter like that

      How can I stop this?

Thank you! I have not thought of a possible leaking water hose. The engine by the way is a 2001 F25. I had this issue since new and the dealer has been unable to figure out the problem, but suspected the small drain hoses, grommets with drain holes? I don't know what they are called on the bottom of the engine. They are supposed to let water out one way only. I thank you again! I will look very carefully for a leaking hose.
