1997 two stroke 40hp

Hello,

New to forum. I have an opportunity to buy a 1997 2 stroke 40 hp Yamaha long shaft remote motor that is in great condition. However, the boat I want to use it on requires a tiller. What do I need to convert the motor to tiller steer and how difficult is the conversion? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Being a 2 stroke 1997 model I guess must be the 40V, right?
