Old Style Ignition switch replacement.

I have a 96 Mako w/ a 96 Yamaha 115. The ignition switch panel has a toggle for the choke instead of a push to choke feature on the ignition switch. I would like to upgrade to the new style push key to choke assy. Is the main connector harness the same with just the choke wires being spliced in?

same connector, its a plug and play swap.
remove one panal assy and install the other.
cant remember the part numbers but there were a few that used the same size panal.
