2004 command link

On a system with twin engines, i should be able to switch the fuel management gauge from fuel flow between the port and starboard engine by pushing the set button on the gauge. It will not work. I'm wondering if I am only seeing the fuel flow for 1 engine because I'm burning 13-14 gal per hour at 3800 rpm. (twin 225) This is a new boat to me, maybe it just gets better fuel economy that I thought.

It's not command link as command link will only work on 2006 and newer models. You have the digital multifunction gauges and there are inline fuel flow sensors usually mounted by water separator fuel filters, probably one of them bad or have bad wiring to it.
