the parts seem right, but the labor is a bit high,, we charge 13 to 15 hours, and our labor rate is 90.00

parts about right,shop fee ok.
labor takes 8 hours or so.
labor rate is local.
drop the gear case,pop off the power head,2 hours.
remove the midsection and strip it, 2 hours.
reassemble takes another 4-6.
some techs go faster than others.
some techs derig the lower cowl,if I have room I usually set it aside rigged.
if your unsure call the yamaha consumer hot line and ask what labor they pay if it was warrenty.
yamaha warrenty flat rate is fair and generous.
