Engine vibration 2005 T9.9 4 stroke, high-thrust

When I bring the engine rpms up off of idle the engine goes through a range of rpm where it vibrates quite violently. Is this typical of these motors? Will it go away as the engine breaks in?

That little 4-stroke should be smooth as a baby's butt thru out it's entire rpm range - I would take it back to the dealer and tell them to fix it - still under warranty, right?

I agree with Ken it should go back to dealer. It would be better to take them the boat and motor if possible so they can water test it.
