I ran carb dry of gas and stored over the winter. I took it out in spring and the motor won't run unless on almost full choke. I replaced fuel pump kit hoping for the fix, however my problems persist after multiple cleanings. Any advice on other causes for my issue would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like a classic example of the choke enrichening the mixture to overcome a lean condition caused by plugged carb jets. Remove and clean carb, then install a fuel/water separater type cartridge filter to help prevent further fuel related issues. Good Luck!

i have cleaned the entire carb and everything looks good as new. Before the first initial storage I had no prior problems... no problems with fuel to the carb.Comment

Some carb jets are very small and difficult to clean...ultrasonic bath, wire, soak in carb cleaner overnight?...Comment
