I was having intermittent problems with my tilt and trim, often having to push the control switch repeatedly before it would kick in. It always eventually started working. After reviewing all of the posts on this forum relating to the same or similar problems, it was apparent that the relay and not the motor was the problem. I replaced the relay yesterday and ***! Everything works great and with quick, peppy response. Just a note of thanks to the folks who post on this forum. Its a great knowledge base and with my lack of any electrical knowledge and very poor mechanical ability, I was able to diagnois and repair the problem.
