Drill out lower unit to make exhaust louder

Is it possible to drill out the exhaust on a 03 Yamaha 115 4 stroke. I am currently re building my motor and was wanting to make it louder.

Sounds like he needs to buy an inboard with a V8 to get the noise he is looking for and plan on pumping lots of $$ in fuel instead of having a fuel efficient quiet 4 stroke Yam
