1986 yamaha outboard poppet valve

Can anyone tell me where the poppet valve & thermostat is located on a 1986 yamaha outboard prov150. we have searched every website possible with no results.. Thank you in advance

Thermostats are in top of heads, pressure control valve is at bottom of rear exhaust plate with large hose attached to it.

how hard is it to replace,the pressure valve?

It's hard to get to it being down in lower cowling but not that bad.

Best to replace grommet valve spring and gasket-not expensive and then you know.
