upgrade from older command-link engine to new DEC control

I have a 2006 F250 and concidering upgrade to new F300XCA. Am I correct in thinking I will only need new control box and 16 pin harness?

I forgot to add that I allready have Command link gauges on the boat.

If the 250 was DEC also then that is all you need.
