Trim/Tilt Manual Release Valve

I recently developed a hydraulic leak from my manual release valve, tightening it did no good so I removed it and found small pieces of O ring that came out with the fluid when removing it, looking at the drawing which I used to order a new one it doesn't show exactly where the O ring is positioned, there are two small one on the end of the valve that are intach, not sure if it fits in the large slot behind the screw head or behind the large slot before the threads begin. Anyone know

Don't know what motor you have but most models have a valve seat under manual release screw that may be bad.

It is a 2001 150 and the part on the drawing is #22 (O ring) I ordered the O ring and maybe when it arrives I can determin by it's size where it goes on the valve because it's not clear on the drawing
