87 200 no crank

87 200 won't crank, electric choke not clicking, trim works. Tried another batttery...same thing. Brown wire to 12v does crank motor however.

Check for 12 volts at red wire going to key switch.Check for 12 volts at brown wire at key switch when key is in start position, then check to see if have 12 volts on brown wire coming from control box(neutral switch).
Do same for choke wire, 12 volts on dark blue when choke is activated.

Found it....the red wire fuse connector wasn't making good contact.
