I have a 2003 Yamaha F225TXRB. I removed the tilt trim unit because the fill cap was stripped out and water got into the system. I pulled all rams and replaced all seals on the unit. I removed the electric trim motor and was going to remove the pump and unfortunately removed the 69J-43843-00-00
SCREW, VALVE LOCK's to clean them out and did not note the position that they were in. I put the unit back together and tried bleeding the system and noticed that the tilt will extend and retract but the trim cylinders will only extend but not retract. I notice the electric trim motor will bog down like it is being restricted. I believe its because i messed with those screw valve locks. If there is any hope on salvaging the pump so I do not have to replace it that would be great. Thanks for the help.
