Different wiring harnesses

I went from 1986 Yamaha 200's to 1996 250's, but the 250's have square electrical connectors at engines, and the 200's had round plugs. The main harness is the same, and I have the harnesses for the oil tanks, so there are two additional plugs that don't match. If anyone has access to decent wiring diagrams for 1996 250, or other advise, I would appreciate any help I can get. thanks,

The Yamaha service manual for your motors should have the wiring diagrams you need - and in color no less. Go to www.yamahapubs.com to order online. They will deliver to your door.

Yep, they changed them in '94. Yamaha sells the adapter plugs for the harness, so check with your dealer or this site (Central Florida Yamaha).
