Do I take off the plastic air silencer when using Yamalube comb. chamber cleaner?

Simple question. I have a Yamaha F115 and just picked up a can of the Yamalube combustion chamber cleaner. Do I have to take off the plastic air silencer before spraying the cleaner in or can you just spray it into the silencer?

Yes, just remove the 4 screws and remove the air box, will allow you to direct chemical directly into each carb throat. Good Luck!
