Yamaha 200 hp outboard 2 stroke oil pump

ordered 2 oil pumps to replace my leaking pump (continually leaks oil into combustion chamber while motor is off-which fouls the plugs and dumps oil into water during startup), both pumps received do not match what I have. Has the part been replaced with a different style pump? Parts ordered:
6g6-w1320-00 &6g5-w1320-00. pump i have has 6 oil ports at the top of pump-2 parts received have oil ports on side of pump. Can you help me find the right pump? Serial numbers on motor are illegable.

Will need the model number to see what is correct pump, there are a LOT of 200hp models.

What casting numbers can I give you off the block to tell you what size/model number the motor is? Those I can see. the serial tag on the engine mount has been scraped clean. Also, it is a 225 hp Excell lower unit-the powerhead was replaced with a 200 hp powerhead instead of the previous 225 Excell powerhead that was on it.

Would posting a picture of the oil pump unit help? And what I received that was incorrect?

also, in researching the pump for the various 200 HP model motors out there (from 1984 thru 1988), there are only 2 oil pumps in the 200 model oil pump part number (150,175 hp; and 200 hp).

thats because the old keihn pumps are no longer avalible.
however there is a kit to convert them to the newer mikuni style pumpos which is what you have been getting.

Thanks for the info!!!! The pump kit I received from Boats.net has instructions for connecting the pump, along with check valves, hoses, etc. My biggest concern is the instructions are not detailed as to which hose goes to which pump port, which are no longer arranged in the same manner as the old pump. The old pump had 6 ports at the top arranged in a circle, and the new pump has 3 ports on each side of the pump, and they are staggered (top left, right middle, bottom left).

Is there any info out there on connecting the pump oil lines correctly to the motor?

yep, now its going to be plumbed like a post 1990 2.6L.
means for the oil line routeing ya gotta look at a later model service manual.

I have a Seloc manual, but it does not have any info on the routing (other than mark line locations before removing). Would you know where I can get the info? I looked online but have not found anything yet.
