  • First 100 hour service question

We just had our first 100 hour service on a F250XCA motor. It had 20 hour break in service at the same dealer.

The dealer installed a new "water pump kit" at a cost of $158.85 plus labor.

When I questioned it he said that it is standard procedure to replace it at every 100 hours service, which I thought was unusual.

I called another dealer, and that one said the standard is to replace it at 300 hours.

What is the correct factory recommended replacement period?
