2 issues (maybe related)
Have a 2002 OX66 250hp 2stroke on my 23 Bluewater CC (first boat). Starts well, idles & powers up onto plane well, cruises like a champ, but have been experiencing some hesitation & sputter at lower rpms above *****ing speed and below pushing up onto plane. Thoughts?
Thinking longer term, at 956 hours should I be thinking about rebuild/repower soon? What is the cost/benefit scope of those options. Just had a factory re-manufactured lower half installed last August.
