Can I increase my horsepower?

I have a 2003 Yamaha 6hp, twin cylinder, 4 stroke. I have been trying to find out how to increase my horse power. The Yamaha 6 horse and 8 horse are pretty much the same motor, even down to the weight. Could I install an 8 horse carb to get more power?

It's very doubtful there's anything you can do to hot-rod your motor....better to just buy a bigger motor!
