Hey folks...
I guess I am the FNG (FRIGGIN NEW GUY) so here goes. I just purchased a 1990 dynasty 20', with a yamaha inboard/drive. I had the bearings on the trailer redone, and the mech told me he didnt think that he could get parts for these engines any longer since they only made them a few years. It is a 5.7 8cyl, carb. I bought it from a guy who only used it 5 times the past 5-6 years. My question is, NO issues with the motor, however, am I dancing w the devil here if an issue comes up with the motor or drive? I am in a position to sell it asap and make an investment on another that could or could not be one hell of a money pit. I trust your opinions, and I can provide any info needed for an edjumakated decision...thanks again...john
