I have a 200hp 1988 pre mix .Now it has a rough idle it starts to smooth out at 3000rpm, but can't get it over 4000rpm.Already checked both fuel pumps and are Ok.

Yeah, what jb said.
If the spark plugs more than a year old, I would replace them.
Also, short of tearing down the carbs, you might try a shock treatment with a strong detergent like Seafoam or Yamaha RingFree. If that doesn't help, try removing the jets of the carbs and squirting carb cleaner directly into the orifices to flush out gum and varnish. Replace any distorted or cracked o-rings that may be on the ends of the jets.
If none of the above works, then carb teardown and cleaning and kit installation is in order.
