Hi this is my first time here and i need some help or at least some ideas on what the propblem might be. I have a 2005 200 hp hdpi motor. Never have any problem. Well too off with kids on board motor bogs down sound like it quits running, well then it jumps back and rund again. Does this the full range of rpms i changed all hoses and filters that a none mehinic (me) could find . Any one else had this problem or know how to cure it.

200 hpdi, so many other things could be an issue here, fuel restriction, anti siphon valve, fuel pick up, vst filter, high pressure filter, basket filters in the pump and injectors, at this point it is better to take it to someone who knows the ins and outs of a HPDI, it will save you a lot of money in the long run. -
Sounds like it is loosing fuel pressure. With a fuel pressure guage hooked up, run the motor see if you loose pressure.Comment
