Mine is leaking pretty bad and it's time to do something about it. I changed the tilt/trim motor this weekend which was pretty straight forward, including pulling the outboard from the transom using an oak tree and a come-along. However, I'm not sure I want to tackle the replacing of the seals in the tilt cylinder. Any of you experts have a ballpark idea of what this sort of repair would typically cost assuming a $100/hour labor rate (what my mechanic charges)? Thanks in advance.
