2004 60hp 4stroke purchase

I am about to purchase a boat with a 60hp 4 stroke Yamaha it runs well starts first kick but has 1252 hours on the gauge. Does anyone now of any issues with the motor after certain run times or is it as they say bullet proof.

As long as you continue to keep the motor serviced, you should be good. Be sure to change timing belt and may need to have the valves adjusted.
