Have a problem with no signal to the speed & starboard tach which was reported to be the result of salt water from a leaking water pressure sensor shorting out the wiring harness and the ECU. and Speed gauge.

Any ideas as to the probably of this happening?

We are looking at $2400 in parts.

Take it back to your dealer, the wiring harness should be checked when the sensor was replaced under warranty.

What should be checked- should it be rung out point to point?

Check everthing that salt water sprayed on for corrosion.
