I have a 24' sweetwater pontoon boat with two 23" pontoons . I have tried several props and am still searching for on to reach top of wot range but not exceed the top limit . The f70 wot range is 5300 to 6300 rpm's . yamaha props i have tried with light load :
13 5/8 x 13 alu wot 5600 rpm speed 23 mph
14 x 11 alu wot > 6300 speed 19-20 mph (exceed rev limit )
14 x 11 dual trust alu wot > 6300 speed 19-20 mph ( exceed rev limit )
I would like to try a yamaha pontoon preformance prop ( stainless steel ) . My question is should I try the 14x12 or the 14x11 ? If I could get a 14 x12 alu prop I think it would put me around 6000 to 6100 rpm but can't find one . Don't know which to try if I switch to stainless .
