40 hp HETO 1993

Hi guys can any one help i have bought 2 gauges 1 x Tach 6Y5-8350T-82-00 the others a Speed 6Y5-83570-S5-00 both are multi-functional.
The wiring loom has square plugs, looks like in and out, are these gauges compatible with a 40 hp HETO 1993 as connection on mine are round?

We don't have any information on a 40HETO model but those gauges works on 1994-2004 US model motors. There are adapters but don't know which ones will work for your motor.

hi thanks for getting back to me i'm still trying to find out more about engine this is what i found :- Yamaha 40 Hp Outboard

Engine number 6H4 L 532929

40HETO

H = Tiller
E = Electric Start
T = Trim & Tilt
O = Auto lube Multipoint Oil

A = 1993 ? stamp in lower right hand corner of plate

If this is correct then these gauges wont fit
